Overview¶
Pyrocko is an open source seismology toolbox and library. Most of Pyrocko is written in the Python programming language, a few parts are written in C.
It can be used as a framework for own developments but also contains a few standalone tools for everyday seismological practice:
- Snuffler - seismogram browser and workbench: an extensible seismogram browser and workbench
- Cake - travel-times and ray paths for 1D layered media: travel-time and ray-path computations for 1D layered earthmodels
- Fomosto - Green’s function database management: a tool to manage pre-calculated Green’s function stores
- Jackseis - manipulate seismic waveform archives: a command-line tool for common waveform archive data manipulations
- Colosseo - earthquake scenario generator: forward model full-fledged randomized synthetic datasets
